This stone-built pub on the main road through Old Marston has two rooms with a central bar; one room is a drinking area with a dart board, whilst the other is more for dining, though not exclusively. Having been owned by Hall’s, Ind Coope and Morland, it is now in the hands of Greene King. The welcoming licensees champion local food, all of which is freshly cooked or homemade; fish and chips with Abbot Ale batter is the signature dish. There is an outside bar used for summer barbecues, and it is hoped to hold beer festivals here. Live music and quiz nights are held monthly.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers (through Greene King) and 2 regular beers.
