This Pub is Permanently Closed

This pub/restaurant of brick and flint construction is situated almost opposite the common, where cricket matches are played regularly in summer. There is a welcoming, real fire with seating area near the entrance and bar for pre-dinner aperitifs. Other adjacent rooms with an open aspect are laid out for diners. A small garden with seating is at the front next to the main road. Beers from two local breweries are served.

Red Lion still open on Google Street View Jun 2019, but changed to Lounge India restaurant by May 2021. Facebook indicated that the Lounge India opened 17 May 2021.
