This Pub is Permanently Closed
A former Marston’s Inn now privately owned, this non food pub is frequented by locals with the emphasis on excellent beer and hospitality. There is a central drinking area and two small rooms to either side. A coal fire adds to the ambience in winter together with comfy seats and sofas. There is a large screen TV and pool table set back.
The pub sells one regular beer, Tetley Bitter and six changing locally sourced ales.
They have a fully fitted Disabled WC and baby change facilities. Outside there is a lawned beer garden and a large car park.

Conversion had not started in Nov 2021. Additional planning applications referring to Railway Hotel on details in between Dec 2021 and Jan 2022, but planning applications in Feb 2022 and Mar 2022 suggest conversion to Co-operative Store has been completed.
