This Pub is Permanently Closed

Pub closed and boarded up (reported Jun 12, John Jenkins): Friendly working men's pub, adjacent to the former railway stations, and also the popular miniature steam railway attraction. There are two bars, the lounge bar housing a pool table. Children are allowed in the pleasant and recently-opened beer garden; the large outside picnic table area is covered with awnings in summer, and features large screens for sports fans. A small café under the pub (at car park level) offers meals 0900-1600 weekdays, 1200-1400 Sundays.
