Former residential hotel on a busy cross roads. Completely refurbished and reopened by Wetherspoon in 2012 after a lengthy period of closure. Now firmly established, this spacious pub has an attractive family dining area offering typical Wetherspoon value for money food and drink. The reopening of the Queens led to a much needed raising of the profile of real ale in Maltby. Local CAMRA best pub refurbishment award 2013. Look out for the statue of local cricket hero Fred Trueman, made from bike chains, and the figures on a balcony depicting the Chuckle Brothers. Murals in garden by Tabby Riley. The cider is no longer classed as real by CAMRA. Handy for Coronation Park, next door. Regular Meet the Brewer nights held. Next to Coronation Park and handy for Maltby Crags and Roche Abbey.
