Typical 1970's build estate pub, opened in 1979, standing back from the B6427 road, heading towards Braithwell. Situated in the Little London area of the township, it was originally built for the Mansfield Brewery Co and was subsequently acquired by Marstons when they took over that brewery. It has recently changed ownership but the new owner is not yet known. A welcome convert to real ale in 2018 with a single hand pump selling a changing beer. This is sometimes increased to two Often from Chantry, Greene King or Sharp's. Real ale is scarce in this satellite town, so it is a welcome addition to the handful of real ale outlets. There is an open ic night on Thursday at 8.30 pm, with live music on Friday and Saturday evenings.
