This Pub is Closed Long Term

An late 17th / early 18th century country pub where fine dining has been taking priority in recent years with many awards gained.

Planning permissions were approved in October 2024 for building works and alterations to include guest accommodation and a deli/café prior to a future reopening.

Changes will therefore take place.

A 'useless' fact is that in 1963 thieves broke in, ate the landlord's supper and stole his pet budgie, Bobby.
