This white-painted local is prominent on the hillside overlooking the end of the Burdock Way viaduct. The interior has been partially opened out while retaining distinct spaces. The beer garden with views over Halifax is popular with families in summer and has a play area. The pub has gained a reputation for its restaurant facilities. The canopy adjoining the entrance provides a covered smoking area.
