The Prince of Wales reopened with a new tenant 16th April 2025. Front of house is now run by Tanya Web and Jack Hemmings, a warm welcome is promised.
Well appointed local on the hill up to Cashes Green. Beautiful Cotswold stone building with some low ceilings and exposed beams. Quiet lounge area which doubles as a restaurant is separate from the bar. Mind the step when entering and enjoy the three separated eating areas exposed beams, cosy log burner and objets d'art.
The bar sports two credible real ales The lounge has a fresh spartan look with a food offer not to be found anywhere else in Stroud. The Prince of India offers all the usual delights for eat on the premises or take away.

Historic Interest
The pub is reputed to originally have comprised of four cottages. It has been enlarged over the years.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
