[Update 29 Apr 2025: The pub is definitely open to the public now. Went in yesterday. Two cask ales, Ewebrew Arctic Convoy and Caledonian Deuchars, both scoring around 2.5. Also many diners present.]
The Poolewe Hotel is an historic 16th-Century coaching inn, situated on the shore of Loch Ewe, opposite the world famous Inverewe Gardens. Ideally located on the Wester Ross Tourist Route between Gairloch & Ullapool. Loch Ewe was the setting off point for convoys to Arctic Russia in WW2 and regular events and exhibitions are held locally.
Excellent meals are served in the Bar and separate dining room - booking strongly advised in the tourist season when it can get very busy!
The 12 en-suite bedrooms (3 recently added) offer loch or mountain views.
