Located close to the Heathrow spur junction on the M4, the pub dates from the mid 19th century, although the single storey is a later addition, and has a busy passing trade and refugees from the neighbouring Holiday Inn. The pub benefits from an open kitchen with table service serving English food. Locally listed. No beer scores were received during 2023 and a January 2024 visit revealed two Purity pump clips turned round. The bar staff said ale is no longer sold..

Local listing:- Mid 19th C core. Main building two storey, white render with slate roof. Original windows on first floor. Ground floor much altered. Single storey later addition, also in white render. Prominent chimney stacks.
