This Pub is Closed Long Term

FEB 2026 - Open again after a break from 5th Feb but the kitchen will remain closed during February.

The Plough reopened in May 2024 under the new ownership of Diane & Rab Black. The attractive single room has a wooden floor, a brick bar counter and is furnished with tables and chairs.

The food menu (Oct 24) offers a variety of pies and loaded potato wedges along with a small selection of cakes and cheesecakes for the sweet-toothed among us.

Beer wise, there is a Tempest cask ale along with other Tempest keg ales.

31st. MAY 2026 - The pub has closed down due to insufficient footfall. There are currently no plans to place it on the market and it may still be used socially, but unlicensed.
