This Pub is Permanently Closed
A beerhouse attached to a farm. Edward Hartley was the licensee in 1904 & 1908. The property was offered for sale by private treaty in 1904. The beerhouse was offered to let from Lady Day 1915, and there was a sale of farm stock on 7 Mar 1916 on behalf of Mr C Wilson who was leaving. The beerhouse seems to have closed in late 1920 and there was no application to renew the licence at the licensing sessions in 1921. The building remains as Plough Farm.
