This Pub is Permanently Closed

Opened 20 September 2016 in former building society premises. Apparently inspired by the beer houses of the 1830s had a 50:50 food and drink split. At ground level there was a long, narrow bar with 18 taps serving keg beers up to 12.5% ABV in pints, halves, and thirds with prices to match; all listed on a blackboard. Also huge range of speciality gins and other spirits. 3 cask ales. Downstairs was a restaurant which seemed bigger than is possible.

Closed suddenly Feb 2019. Not financially viable. Now (Jan 2022) Gourmet Burger restaurant and takeaway.
