This Pub is Permanently Closed

Sports bar.

The former Picture House cinema on Station Road, Castleford opened in 1921 seating up to 1200 people and closed in 1964. More recently was The Orange House, spacious café bar beneath night club, that did try cask ales for a time, but ale seekers have a frequently GBG listed Wetherspoon 150 yds away, nice original art deco exterior touches, owned by Yellowhammer Trading then by Volante Leisure.

Serious fire in January 2017 has forced closure - no information about re-opening available.
