This Pub is Permanently Closed

Built in 1900 and extended in the 1960s, the Phoenix was once a popular GBG entry in its time, but was difficult to succeed with owing to its isolated position near a busy road junction. The Phoenix is unlikely to rise from the ashes but we know nothing at present about plans to redevelop the site.
