This Pub is Temporarily Closed

Closed on 26 May 2025 while new tenants were being sought. New tenants from 26 September 2025 but the pub is not due to reopen until early November 2025.

17th-century pub is built in brick and flint and is located in the centre of the village. The adjoining barn has been converted to a restaurant and four en-suite bedrooms. The original part of the pub comprises three separate areas with low beams a real fire and sofas and benches with plenty of cushions and newspapers to read. The Ridgeway Path passes right by the pub and the Thames is less than 1/2 a mile away. The pub is closed on Mondays, except for Bank Holidays.
