Renovation completed 1999 of the Grade II listed former post office, dating from 1914, created a large and mainly open plan area. TVs screen news channels throughout the day. Free Wi-Fi is available. The car park is behind the pub off Meadow Street immediately after the Royal Mail sorting office. Note the ticket machine with tickets refunded off an order at the bar. Links to the town's history in salt production and ICI, are on display on the pub walls.
