More a food-oriented pub now with an offering including locally-sourced pies, and although owned by Yorkshire brewery Sam Smith it's one of their outlets that does not have cask beer. A rumour that Old Brewery Bitter would be available on handpump has not yet translated to reality. Nice interior though, lighter and more modern than most SS outlets, and a pleasant garden around the outside of the building.

Patrons should note that the brewery's policy is that its pubs are for social conversation person to person. This includes bans on swearing, mobile phones (except for payments), laptops or tablets; however, in the London area this policy may be relaxed or not enforced by staff.
