Originally a beer house it became a pub called the Burton Ale Stores in 1920 and changed to the Oranges & Lemons, from the link with the name of the parish, in 1970. In the mid 1980s it became Parker's, a cocktail bar for a short while, and then the Angel & Greyhound after two meadows to the rear of the building, which in turn took their names from two inns in the High Street, when acquired by Young's in1991. It was sold by Young’s in September 2024 and now operated by Morgan Pub Collective. There is one room with a raised seating area to one side and the bar to the other. It has five real ales and three ciders on draught from independent producers, some of them local. Daily food and drink deals Monday to Friday. Opens at 8am for breakfast.
This Pub serves 4 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
