This Pub is Permanently Closed

The main picture, of unknown date, showing the Old Star while still open, is a cropped version of one taken by the Carrington Brewery during an architectural survey of their pubs.

The uncropped version is now part of the National Brewery Heritage Trust collection; Photo © National Brewery Heritage Trust (cc-by-sa/3.0).

It is also one of a collection of several historic pictures in the pub's Dover-Kent Archives web entry.

The two pictures showing the building in its current use, as flats, were taken in July 2022. Closed Pubs has a winter picture of the building.
