This Pub is Closed Long Term
In the former village primary school building (hence the name), this pub styles itself as a 'bar and kitchen'. The left-hand room houses the main bar area, which is where the high tables, bar stools and wall ledges lend themselves to the drinking section of the clientele. A staircase at one end leads up to a mezzanine lounge area for relaxing on well-upholstered sofas or with space to eat at a few dining tables. Three steel handpulls dispense the beer. The right-hand part of the old building contains a separate restaurant area, food being described as back-to-basics and accessible; ingredients are locaaly sourced. Live evening entertainment includes an acoustic jam session Thursdays, karaoke Fridays and occasional live bands on Saturdays. The bus stops by the school wall.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
Changing beers typically include: Sharp's (varies) , Skinner's (Goodh Brewing Co) (varies)
