A modern style pub in the town centre. The main bar has polished bare floorboards and some of the walls are decorated with old postage stamps. Opens for breakfast and coffee at 9am (alcohol not served). Only card payments accepted.

Historic Interest

Dates from 1774. In the early 20th century, the author H.G. Wells regularly dined and wrote here.
