A venerable village inn, mainly 17th-century with some later additions, full of old beams and antique furniture. Lunch and dinner are available seven days a week. There is a pub garden in the summer and a log fire in the winter. An extensive whisky list (240+) and wine list (150+). Five comfortable bedrooms are available and high quality food is served every lunchtime and evening. Dogs welcome in the bar. Only four miles from Exeter's Haldon Racecourse.

Accessibility access - Level access via the patio doors. The passageway to the toilets is too narrow for WChair access.
