This Pub is Closed Long Term
Although small in size this 17th-century, Grade II listed pub has ample parking, outside seating and a large garden with extensive fenced-off play equipment, making it a safe place for children to play. A real local's pub serving home-made food. Friday night is steak night with the meat being locally-sourced. The new publican is clearly a motorcycle enthusiast, with models and photos a-plenty and a couple of bike pictures stenciled onto the walls in the pool table area. Real ales consist of three ever-changing beers with at least one a LocAle. Yearly and other popular events are held in the large front car park area and include the Warfield Pumpkin Show in September and the annual 'Steam Up' event in October, where full size traction and miniature steam engines are on show. Well behaved dogs are welcome.
