This comfortable village community pub offers a small separate public bar with a pool table, big TV, a settle and comfy chairs' with a stone-tiled bar. Down a short passageway at right angles is the much larger lounge area whose bar hosts the four real ale handpumps. The lounge is split into two parts: one carpeted with a wood-burning stove that warms the room in winter; and a second dining area with wooden floor and half-painted wood panelling and open stonework. Games are available, Such as miniature table football, Jenga and various board games. A travelling barber visits the pub on Thursdays 11:00-16:00. The pub is handy for the Argal reservoir and fishing thereon.
