Spacious pub/restaurant which has undergone a major refurbishment to provide a good dining environment with an extensive menu (breakfast - pre-booked - from 9.30am). En suite accommodation of various designations available. Sunday is film night, Tuesday quiz night.

Since closure the site has been acquired by the Co-Op with a view to conversion into retail premises that will local speculation suggests will include a Greggs outlet plus possibly a coffee shop. This development has fallen way behind schedule probably due to the pandemic (26/12/20).
