Much extended from an old roadside house, a spacious building sitting end-on to the busy Harrogate to Skipton A59, the pub was acquired and refurbished by Brunning and Price in 2022. On entering, the bar is in front of you, and there is seating for drinkers in the form of tables and chairs to the right-hand side in the remains of the old building overlooking the front. There are flagged floors around the bar and in the central area with some laminated flooring covered in places with large rugs, and there are two warming log burners. Much of this large pub accommodates dining, including a raised carpeted area towards the back of the pub. There is a small patio at the front as well as a large patio and garden area at the back with a view towards the Washburn Valley. A Brunning and Price badged traditional bitter from Brightside Brewery in Manchester is the regular beer alongside a selection of changing Yorkshire ales and a boxed cider, eg. Lilley's.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 2 regular beers.
