A friendly pub close to the coast, Horsey Nature Reserve, Broad and Mill.Used alot by visitors to Horsey Gap looking at the seals. It has a quiet, timeless atmosphere with a log fire in winter and a large collection of marshman's implements, local pictures and Nelson memorabilia on display. Two Woodforde's cask ales on handpump plus other beers on gravity. A good selection of home-cooked meals made with locally sourced produce is available in the bar and dining room. The pub is popular with artists, walkers, boaters and locals alike and the large garden area welcomes children. A sloe gin festival is held on the last Saturday in January.A fine example of a rural Norfolk pub with large outside area to be enjoyed in the warmer months. Local CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year
