The Naval and Military club was founded in 1920 and is now open to all visitors. The wood panelled club is the second oldest club in Southend with a large selection of military memorabilia adorning the walls. It offers two bars, lunches, a large patio area and a veranda with stunning views over the Thames Estuary. Three real ales are available from a different brewery each month. A large function room is available for events of 10 to 100 guests.
