Situated near the seafront and high street, but far enough off the circuit to feel like a secret place. The Alex is one of the friendliest pubs in town and for many it feels like home. There are great offers on food and drink, that are made even better with their loyalty yellow card. Every Tuesday is the legendary Quids night. Sundays are made even better with an awesome quiz, with more challenges, random games and prizes than you can shake a stick at. Live music and comedy nights plus an open mic night on the first Sunday of the month. Large beer garden to the rear of the premises and pool table within the bar. No cask ales available, 2 hand pumps dispensing cider and five craft keg beer taps. A range of English bottled beer and craft bottles also available. Friday night is Cocktail and Craft night when all cocktails, and craft beer are reduced.
