This Pub is Permanently Closed

Originally Converted from the former Bank which closed a few years ago. The bar is on the ground floor with several tables to enjoy your drinks or dine. The restaurant is upstairs (sadly there is no lift!) with the kitchen in full view off the stairway. Anyone having difficulties with the step leading from the street into the premises needs to alert the staff who will provide a ramp to ease their entry. The former safe on the ground floor of the bank was installed and built by Chatwood-Milner (Chatwoods Safes started their business many years ago in Bolton before relocating to Shrewsbury) Its door is now permanently ajar with the space inside made into a small seating/dining area
