This is part of an outstanding collection of early canal warehouse buildings, all now imaginatively converted to new uses. inside, the Moorings is constructed of heavy beams and supporting pillars, complete with other fixtures that reflect its original purpose. The main lounge is mostly at a raised level, overlooking the bar and standing area. A small family room to one side has large windows looking onto the canal basin, beyond which there's a further room favoured by diners. There is an extensive food and drinks menu. This pub's handy for boaters, and is a meeting place for local businesses. Note that the upstairs restaurant next door is not part of this pub.
