Historic ex-Truman house overlooking village green/cricket ground. Modern interior. Emphasis on food but drinkers welcome.

Closed 31st July 2019; re-opened January 2020 after renovation.

Subsequently closed for conversion to Minel Meze & Grill restaurant primarily as a Mediterranean restaurant.

Drinks may be obtained without a requirement to eat. On a recent May 2023 CAMRA member visit no real ale was available

Village stocks were once to be seen in the main bar, but present whereabouts unknown.
