Community pub amid terrace houses that attracts people from other districts. Now has 7 hand pumps, one usually serving a cider. Beers are supplied directly by local breweries and from around the country through brewery swaps. Good supporter of local sport teams. TV racing and other sport. Outside drinking area in front of pub and a covered smoking area in the yard to the side. Free bar snacks most days at 4pm. Bingo Wednesday, Quiz Thursday, live music Friday to Sunday, all at 8pm. Accommodation for CAMRA members by arrangement.
