This Pub is Closed Long Term
April 2025 - not open but saying it will soon do sooon - CAMRA is concerned about what is happening - we will report a possible planning breach to Brent Council, as it isn’t looking that it will operate as a pub. It was closed on our visit (27/04/25), despite website saying it was open. The upstairs was recently let (see sign), We thought it was a function room?
20/05/23 - "Bar 117 looks closed, I went by this morning and it looked boarded up. Google says ‘temporarily closed.’ 29/07/23 - still closed an no sign of life.
Reopened in September 2020 under a new name and new management and refurbishment. Sports bar. They show all the sports including football, rugby and GAA and the bar has a beer garden out the back. Previously Flynns / Kitch Inn / Ken's Restaurant. Flynns was a traditional old fashioned Irish bar on the High Road. It did a good pint of Guinness! It started out as a restaurant in the 1980s, before being converted to a bar. Before that it was a cafe. It used to be a sweet shop back in the 1950s and 1960s.
