Sitting opposite the old GWR Station this warm, wood paneled hostelry, previously the local CAMRA Pub and Cider Pub of the Year, has been transformed into a real ale haven. Brewery memorabilia adorns the walls, with pews and a deep-set fireplace adding character. Offering up to five beers sourced from regional and microbreweries plus boxed ciders: for the discerning drinker, it's a rare outlet for Corinium Ales. The ceiling is slowly disappearing behind the encroaching pump clip collection. Occasional music night are hosted, and the small, sheltered patio at the rear is used for BBQ's during their beer festivals.
