Sitting opposite the old GWR Station this warm, wood panelled hostelry, previously the local CAMRA Pub and Cider Pub of the Year, has been transformed into a real ale haven. Brewery memorabilia adorns the walls, with pews and a wood burning stove adding character. Offering up to five beers sourced from regional and microbreweries plus some boxed real ciders; for the discerning drinker, it's a rare outlet for Corinium Ales.
Occasional music nights are hosted, and the small, sheltered, patio at the rear is used for BBQ's during their beer festivals.
