The Market Tavern is situated opposite Blakeley's Fish Shop at the market end of the main car park. This small pub is friendly, cosy, sells a range of six ever-changing real ales, accompanied by ciders. The bar is split into a traditional bar area with a more lounge-ish area to the rear. The beer garden is to the rear of the property overlooking the market stalls. The pub is open on Bank Holiday Mondays.
