Elegantly decorated pub, whose main bar room looks out to the pretty market square. There’s a small snug to the rear, and a first floor room showcasing an old timber framework which in earlier days was filled in with wattle-and-daub. For summertime there is café-style seating at the front and a yard-cum-garden to the rear. Five interesting ales are offered. Tuesday and Wednesday features a small range of snack dishes, Thursday to Sunday has a wider range of food available.
