Elegantly decorated pub, whose main bar room looks out to the pretty market square. A small snug is to the rear, and a first floor room showcases old timber framework which in earlier days was filled in with wattle-and-daub. Many historic local images decorate the walls. In summer there is café-style seating at the front and a pleasant yard-cum-garden to the rear. Seven interesting ales are offered. Food is served throughout the week and includes a traditional Sunday offering.
