Grade II* listed pub, recently refurbished interior but retaining some original features, such as the open fires. Following a change of manager, it is now concentrating more on a wider range of Ales. Usually from Yorkshire and often sourced in pins (4.5 gallons) to ensure a swift throughput. Sports TV has replaced the pool table. The small, neat courtyard garden provides a pleasant view of the Minster.
