Sizeable estate pub serving a large residential catchment area between railway stations. Handy corner shops face its impressive, largely original 1930's Charrington's facade. Typical carvery outlet with fixed food menu and three beer range from national brewers. Decorated with pictures of Lord Kitchener and his time. Family appeal is evident and charity appeals are welcome. Live music on the first Saturday of each month.
