A new Gordon Ramsay restaurant and cocktail bar opened on 4 February 2014. The Bennett (Oyster Bar & Brasserie) had previously opened in February 2010 as an attractive wine bar and restaurant with some unusual keg and bottled beers, reverting to the 1780 name painted high up on the building (see photo) but had closed on 4 March 2012, notwithstanding 2012 Michelin Guide, Time Out London Eating & Drinking Guide and Tastecard accolades on the door. Formerly an All Bar One which was closed for six years and before that a bar, B Square, opened in 1995. A coal merchant's house originally.
