The Lodge is very popular with locals but visitors are extended a warm welcome. The Lodge Inn has a large bar, a lounge and further rooms at the back including a conservatory that can be opened up in the summer. There is also plenty of outdoor seating. Two permanent real ales and six nationally sourced, constantly changing, guest ales are served. Real ciders, usually five, from a wide range of producers are also available as well as a good range of keg beer and alcohol-free beer. No hot food is served but the popular pork pies are available throughout the week and cheese and biscuits are provided free of charge on Sundays. The pub is well served by local transport and there is a public car park at the rear. Winner of Cheshire CAMRA Pub of Year 2024 and South Cheshire CAMRA Pub of Year 2024 and 2025.
