This Pub is Permanently Closed
The Liverpool Arms is one of the best known pubs on the Isle of Man. Standing mid way between Onchan and Laxey, this former coaching house is the original Half Way House and the road it stands on is universally referred to as 'The L.A. Straight'. "First and foremost we are a pub" said Nigel, the landlord. "Eating in a pub is not the same as going to a restaurant. We still provide a pool table, dartboard, and football on Saturdays! We take as much care of our beer as we do our food."
Historic Interest
Former Coaching House and was an ex-Castletown Brewery pub.
