This Pub is Permanently Closed
Opened in 2009, it describes itself as three floors of music, cocktails and art. There is live music most evenings (which may mean you will be charged for entry). Apparently you are welcome to try your fingers on their piano, probably not when someone else is performing though! As well as the two cask ale offerings they serve keg Meantime Helles and Pale Ale as well as some bottled ales. Their specialty seems to be the cocktail, so something for everyone. The club is a short walk from King’s Cross or the bus stops at the bottom of Pentonville Road. Originally the Golden Lion and in early 2013 reverted to being The Lion (from Kings Cross Social Club). Closed in 2013 and an application has been submitted to convert to residential.
