Closed and changed into coffee shop in 2012. Terrace of shops built around 1887 with the building which was formally Liberties Bar housing a court and the offices of the Colwyn Bay and Pwllycrochan Estate Company.
8th. February 2012 - Change of Use of 41-43 Station Road, Colwyn Bay from Existing Bar and Residential Use into a Mixed Use Building to House a Bistro with Kitchen Training Facilities; Offices and Flexible Training / Function Room. Repairs to Original Historic Fabric, Alterations and Renovations, Include Opening up Existing Openings and Reinstate Sash Windows; Installation of Proprietary Aluminum Windows and Door to Ground Floor Facade; Replacing Existing Arch to Ground Floor with Original Profile; New Lift and Mezzanine to Second Floor.
Historic Interest
Cadw Grade II listed since July 1994 as "An excellent example of the second, and major phase, of Colwyn Bay’s development as a resort and commercial centre; a fine commercial development of its period in which a strong architectural rhythm enables the individual shop premises to be emphasised while retained a strong unifying urban character.
