Built in 1810, the house was converted to a club in 1968. In 2011 most of the premises returned to residential to residential use. A new club was built but was never used. The new building has been offered by the site owner, Telford Homes, to Bow Arts, a community arts and education Charity in 2018, with a view to the charity taking on the space to provide cultural and educational services locally.
