There has been a hostelry on this site since 1765. Once called the Griffin Inn, it became the Red Lion in 1829 and took its present name in 1837. This friendly one-bar pub is well supported by locals and visitors. Good value home cooked food is available, booking advisable. Families with children are made most welcome. Day time buses run from Falmouth via Penryn Station and from Truro less frequently. Mondays to Saturdays only.
