This Restaurant is Closed Long Term
This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.
A new restaurant opened in November 2015, the 14th in the chain. It's spacious and welcoming and is already becoming very popular, especially at weekends when bookings are advised. The decor is pleasant with an outlook towards the busy Kingsway and riverside. While primarily a dining establishment there is a drinking area where the real ales may be enjoyed and, if you wish, tasty bar meals instead of restaurant meals. As the name suggests it majors on French cuisine. The more detailed food hours are: Breakfast (Mon-Sun 9-11.30am), Lunch (Mon-Sun 11.30am-4pm), Dinner (Mon-Thu 5-10pm, Fri & Sat 5-11pm, Sun 6-10pm), while bar food is available 12-7pm.
It's handily placed for Cineworld, Newport Centre, Riverfront Theatre, Rodney Parade sports ground (over the river), and local shops.
This Restaurant serves no changing beers and 1 regular beer.
