A former shooting lodge, now a country sport hotel popular with anglers and walkers. The small, intimate bar leads in to a conservatory with dining tables and comfy chairs overlooking the garden and bay.

Close to two important Neolithic sites.

[Update 2 Jul 2023: No hand pull at the bar, four Orkney bottled beers available around £5. Blackboard outside states that the hotel and bar are open from 10am for cakes, scones and hot drinks, adding that lunch is available midday to 2.30. There is covered bike parking.]
